Poet's Lament

Moments friend with lucks glad hand,

I've shaken, not shaken, left some to stand.

Each is free but price is high,

some potent steps, left to die.

Wavered, waffled, stay or flee,

moments there for you and me.

Decisions grappled, many tossed.

My souls bound freedom, lost.

Many will question...

"What does he speak?"

But his souls indecision

has left him weak.

The path to peace

is servant bound,

with moments given or, -

they can't be found.

Those forgotten changes

left to last,

of chances not taken but

wavered past.

Tiger's Eye

In the eye,

the Tiger's Eye,

the strength of love is found.

A shift, a twist,

from light to dark,

are loves sweet

ups and downs.

When you find you're lonely dear

just look into this stone.

There you'll find me

looking out

from loves sweet

heartfelt home.

PASSIONS FLOWER

Young and furious

your passion's strength.

Bees to nectar -

suitors wait.

Passions fragrance brings one and all

to taste your lovely honeyed walls.

With just one lick their fate is sealed,

hearts stand frozen blood congealed.

Venus, dear, you take them all.

Those knights in amour stand

and fall.

Just one petal from this lovely prize,

brings sweet victims from all the skies.

As each, in line, awaits their time,

all to become your memories rhyme.

Pride to pull you from the fray -

Their pride, their fate and foolish way.

For no such man can tame the scent,

of passions bud -

heaven sent.

Twinge

Found within this memory web,

A strand of firmness

held a carcass, dead.

A tug of living brings it back,

A memory of something

which once was that.

As living does bring its current things,

All past cleaning won't remove this string.

A strand of thread so tighly wrought

Where so many others have tied the knot.

With each new moment caught and held,

That ghostly body moves as well.

Found within this history web,

A strand of firmness held

a carcass, dead.
