Direct experience in Business Develepment, Project Management, & Recruitment across the spectrum of Healthcare Services Delivery from HomeCare to Hospital Care as well as Information Management Systems.

 

Patient Record Enterprise - SaaS.  

Project Management to organize a disparate hiring structure during a surge of hiring. Hired 150 in QA, DB, Design, and Programming. Worked with Hiring managers to create advancement projections (team leader, manager etc..) for key staff, utilized these staff for 2nd review of candidate resumes, and first round interviews. Upon hire the candidate would report to Key member. Ran 2 interview days bringing 100 candidates with a round robin panel interview structure. 

 

IT Consolidation Project / 13 Locations

Worked with VP to create organizational structure and senior level job descriptions for the newly created IT Services Group servicing 13 hospitals on the eastern seaboard. The group took on global enterprise concerns and managed all IT

 

Database Design  

Project to design and launch a clinical trial tracking database for the European Trials of this specialty medical device manufacturer. Developed statement of work, scope, objectives, and deliverables. Hired data base architect for project and met deliverable on time.  Assisted in the design and structure of the project.

 

Senior Outreach Services (Northwestern Human Services), PA

Director – Medicare/Medicaid Senior Adult Services -  Managed all operations of this mobile behavioral health service providing counseling in Skilled Nursing & Retirement Communities to the older adult population in the Metropolitan Philadelphia area. Increased production by 40% for two consecutive years. Negotiated the organizations first Medicare Managed Care contract along with several non-par relationships with other MCO's. Coordinated the design of policies and procedures, care continuum tracking, and training materials for all staff. Have developed and coordinated multi-level provider relationships to increase service penetration and range of services provided.            

 

The Synergy Group of the Gold Coast, West Palm Beach, FL

Consultant - Lead the creation of this executive search firm specializing in the recruitment of healthcare professionals with two other principals. Developed specialized training program, designed database, and coordinated overall operations and budget for the organization. Generated over $250,000 in search assignments including two national accounts.

               

Visiting Nurse Association, West Palm Beach, FL

Director of Marketing & National Contracts – Reorganized the Marketing and Community Relations department of this $10 million not-for-profit Home Care organization. Regular contact with Board of Directors outlining business opportunities and identifying the strengths and weaknesses of existing and proposed programs. Participated in the development of a statewide and southeast regional organization dedicated to regional Managed Care contracting. Additional responsibilities included development and implementation of marketing strategies, supervision and train business development staff, oversee Admissions and Information department and Home Care Coordinators.

               

NAA Health Services, Boynton Beach, Fl

Operations Manager/Marketing Manager – Reorganized operations of this $1 million Travel Nurse company including a complete transition from manual to computerized information management.  Designed and programmed all facets of the application program to ensure interactive and friendly access. Reduced office personnel and increased per unit productivity. Directly involved with all management decisions including hiring, training, advertising, and general office operations. Instituted policies and procedures for office personnel and upgraded guidelines for all field personnel to include all federal requirements for health care professionals. Maintained full production responsibilities to client hospitals throughout the Continental US. Developed and instituted alternative traveler programs including Operating Room Technicians and Licensed Practical Nurses. Within the first year 10% of existing client facilities participated in these programs.          

 

Cross Country Healthcare Personnel, Inc., Boca Raton, FL

Allied Health Supervisor – Directed operations of a $3 million department placing Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Respiratory Therapists, and Radiological Technologists on temporary assignment throughout the Continental United States in Hospitals and Outpatient facilities. Report regularly to Senior Management to recommend alternatives and strategies to increase working personnel. Supervised 5 recruiting and 1 marketing representatives. Increased working field staff by 15% and open requests for staff by 30%. Increased market penetration through negotiation of 2 national agreements.

 

Rehab America, Fort Washington, PA

Established exempt and non-exempt assignments and managed/recruited field FTE’s in allied services in Skilled Nursing facilities.
